We got off the Trans-Canada highway in Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada, on our way to Upper Arrow Lake in the West Kootenay
We took a ferry from Shelter Bay to Galena Bay, in British Columbia, Canada. We have taken the ferry a few times before. This beautiful free Ferry ride runs year-round.

About a year ago, Erik began to lose his vision. Retinal atrophy, which appears to be inherited in Blue Heelers, was the diagnosis made by the specialist we saw. Thankfully, he is highly adaptable.

The weather was lovely.
