Robert’s Creek.

After disembarking on the ferry, we spent five days camping at Robert’s Creek Provincial Campground on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada. We had been here before in 2022. The weather was lovely only becoming cooler on the last day. The staff was friendly. We had wonderful Fish and chips at Sharkeys Fishlocker. “The camping area is located in forest of large cedars, Douglas fir and Hemlock trees. At low tide the cobblestone ocean beach at the picnic area is a good viewing area for sea stars, mussels and oysters or for watching whales, seals and ducks (in winter) offshore.”- B.C Parks

Robert's Creek Beach.

There is a hiking trail to the beach, but we found it easier to park at the Day use area. “This small beach has an excellent swimming area, as well as a scenic picnic area. The large natural rock formations are an added attraction to this pleasant park. Located at the junction of Flume Road and Beach Avenue.” -  Swim Guide

View from Roberts Creek Pier. "This waterfront park has views of the Georgia Strait. Natural wooden benches line the pier and during low tide you can take a walk along the sandbar to the beach. Roberts Creek Pier is the popular location of the annual community painting of the mandala (Sanskrit word for circle). " -Sunshine Coast Regional District.

Roberts Creek Mandala.

"More than 600 volunteer painters contributed to the circular design on pavement near the mouth of Roberts Creek. Each year, perennial mastermind Robert Marion sketches an original mosaic, outlining scores of sections in white paint. Community members — newborns to octogenarians — assemble over several “painting days” to fill in part of the mosaic with unique images." - Coast Reporter
