A taste of Calgary, 8.2000

We went to “A taste of Calgary” at the Eau Claire market. It seems to be an annual event; we couldn’t go to last year’s. Unfortunately it rained (and we even had hail) so we were rushed to decide what to eat. But, still we had fun, as it is a different concept. There were tents outside with foods from different restaurants in Calgary, like The Pannekoek haus (Dutch), Chinese, Mexican etc. Then there was a tent selling tickets at $1 each. The pannekoek was 4 tickets each, but we got 2 Spring rolls for 1 ticket and 4 prawn fritters for 1 ticket. There were also drinks and music. Charles paid 2 tickets for a tot of beer. I saw another Udderly art, this one is called Mac cow. It is painted just like a Mac Caw bird.
