We have bought a new house in a new suburb close to us. It should be finished mid Oct.
They are building a shopping center close by. I am not looking forward to all the noise and dust, but it is the best we can do. So now we are choosing carpet, tiles, lights etc, which is not easy.
It has been so hot people and even dogs have been swimming in the Bow river (which is normally very cold). We have had little rain and many forest fires, especially further south, some national parks are closed, some houses have burnt down and many animals must have died. At the moment even Calgary has smoke.
