Salmonier River

We drove to the Salmonier River one-day, it is a wide river, popular for fishing and it goes to the sea. On the way we were puzzled by a large box along the road, which said, “Moose Jaw box”. Apparently hunters in the area put the Moose jaws in the box, so that they can keep record of Moose hunts. They were also clearing brush on both sides of the road, as there are many Moose on this road. We didn’t see any. It was a misty but wind-still day, the reflections of the boats and houses on the river was lovely
