On Canada day we went to Kananaskis country, about 45 km. from Calgary. We were very impressed. This is where we will go camping, fishing, braaing, hiking, etc. There are lovely waterfalls, rivers, creeks, rapids, scenery, etc.
On a mountain about 3,000 feet above sea level we saw Calgary city like a mirage on the horizon. There were lots of hikers and cyclists. Many people wear red T shirts, caps and Canadian flags.
