We spent a few days boondocking with friends during the Summer Solstice, at one of our favorite places near the James River, in the Bearberry Valley, near Sundre, Alberta, Canada.
We had showers almost every day, but there were lovely breaks.

On our last day we had a thunderstorm and even hail, so we huddled together under the canopy.
It rained so much, water ran over our outdoor camping carpet.
It wasn't too cold, so we just enjoyed Mother Nature's Power.
Fortunately we had removed the tarp that morning, so that at least was dry.
We had also loaded the quad before the down-pour.
Erik found it boring...and...
...went to bed...

The sun came out and it was beautiful.
Erik joined us again.
We used our portable propane fire pit for heat.
