Calgary Womans Show

A friend and I went to the Calgary woman's show, which was held in the Round up center at the Stampede grounds. (The same building which the dog, antiques and outdoor shows were held.) We got lots of freebies like hand-cream, magazines, catnip, samples of cat food, perfume and make up samples etc. We also filled ourselves with delicious home baked Shortbread cookies (which they apparently sell at “Co –op”). Brownies, juice etc. They sold lovely jewelry, clothes, make up, perfume etc. While we were there, there were demos of a “spinning “ Class, modeling, poor Jazz dancing by chubby
teens etc. There was even an overweight Elvis look a like. Afterwards we had nice tea in the tearoom and a chat. Then I rode home with the train.

We went to the woman show again
